Many visitors to our high street shops or superstores come in specifically because we are charities doing good works in our communities, they are also looking for a bargain and we seek to provide those as often as we can.
Over the past decade or so there has been a significant growth in online sales across all market sectors, however, charity retail lags far behind most other sectors by a significant margin in embracing this digital challenge. Many charitable organisations already sell their donated and new items online using the familiar platforms open to the general public, businesses and traders. BuyCharity offers the opportunity to sell online and raise the vital funds we all so desperately need, without our charitable message getting lost or diluted in the commercial clutter.
The power of all our charitable messages cannot be overstated and during these very difficult times when many of our supporters are experiencing financial difficulties themselves, the more traditional methods of fundraising may be difficult. BuyCharity will help us to harness the goodwill and support we all receive – online. Provision is also available for auto posting onto eBay from BuyCharity, for those organisations that would like to list on both. If you have never tried selling online before, it is definitely worth the time to give it a go.
