Vintage Mid 20th century West German orange & red lava art vase by Kreitz Keramik.

Please note that this item was donated used so it may show some signs of age and use but overall, it does seem to still be in very good condition. No chips or cracks.

A striking mid-century German vase decorated in vibrant red/orange glazes with black lava patterning. The pottery vase stands raised on a narrow rounded foot with a rounded globular shaped body with a short pinched neck and rounded bowl shaped top. The vase has a simple loop handle attached to the shoulder. The glazed finish is bright with raised patterning emulating lava with a textured finish and glazed black.

The makers name is on the bottom of the vase.

Made in West Germany.
