Vintage Ingenius Baukasten 'The New City' Architectural Game + More

Vintage Ingenius baby building box Der Ingenius-Baukasten architectural game for children.

A rare architectural game for children with building blocks for skyscrapers, from the early years of the German high-rise.

The blocks are based on the tongue and groove assembly system. The accompanying leaflets give directions to children as to various buildings which can be imitated.

The box says it is the Ingenius Baby model but there are more pieces in the set than stated in the manual. There are approximately 360 wooden blocks. There is also mention of the 'Liliput' set and there is a handwritten note confirming this. Each wooden block is numbered for easy reference.

Made in Austria.

Instruction manuals, guides and pattern sheets.

Original heavy duty cardboard box.

Weight of set including box is approximately 3.8kg.

Please note that this item was donated used so it may show some signs of age and use, there is some slight wear in places but overall, it does seem to still be in generally good condition.
