We have not assembled the full track, but we have plugged the starting piece in and tested the cars on that plus a couple extra straightway parts. The cars ran, though we had to "warm them up" by rubbing them up and down a track piece for a couple of seconds before they'd start to move. We're unsure how they would work long term.

We can confirm that both controllers and both sides of the track work.

As far as contents, every track piece listed on the box is included. There are only 18 out of 23 track supports though, and all the guard barriers and flags are missing.

There are 4 white fence-like items that we're unsure were originally in the box as they don't seem to match up to any of the listed contents - possibly they are part of the 23 track supports (listed as "piers and footings" on the box), but as they can't free stand we're unsure how they'd support the track. If they are included that would still only bring the total amount up to 22 out of 23.

There are 4 sticker sheets for the missing flags.

The lap counter track piece is present but flawed. You are supposed to set a lap count up to 25 and when the car drives over the piece it makes the lap counter go down by one, but the counter for track 2 doesn't hold its position. It doesn't make a "click" sound when increasing the track count, and when you let go of the wheel it will spin itself back down to 0. We're unsure if this can be fixed or if a replacement track part would be needed (though the item works just fine without the lap counter in general).

There are 2 extra cars not stated on the box for a total of 4.

The box itself is flimsy and the top half is held together by tape.

The main assembly instructions are missing, there is just a general set of instructions that say how to fit parts together etc.
