This original New Testament bible was donated used. In good condition for its age - the spine is a little loose from the hardcover & there is general ageing/discolouration to the pages, but the pages are secure.
There is an inscription inside the front of the book:
'A souvenir from Francis Laidlaw, prisoner of war Bad Sulza, Germany May 14th 1941 to Leslie Buswell prisoner of war Stalag(IXC)'.
There are two stamps inside the bible:
'Stalag IX C Goprom' and 'Ecumenical Commission for the Chaplaincy Service to Prisoners of War 41, Av. de Champel, Geneva (Switzerland)'.
The bible measures 11cms by 7 cms.
