Marcel Proust Remembrance of Things Past Swann's Way Part One & Two Vintage 1943

These books are volumes one & volume two in the "Remembrance of Things Past" series, which corrospose to Swann's Way Part one & part two respectively.

These items were donated used. Shows signs of wear due to age - most obvious is that the dust jacket for volume 1 has been heavly torn. In fact at the spine is has completely split in two, and has been taped to keep it together. The actual inside of the book is in relatively good condition, with just usual signs of age-related wear such as foxing. Volume 2 has a much better dust jacket, but still shows signs of aging, especially the spine which has discoloured. The inside of volume 2 is in about the same condition as volume 1. A previous owners name has been written on the first page of both books.
