Antique hardback 'The Gateway to Shakespeare for Children'.

Please note that this book was donated used so may show signs of age and use. The cover and the pages show signs of aging. Overall the pages are clean and clear. There is some handwriting inside the book.

Alhough there is no publication date in the book, there is confirmation on the inside page that this book was given as a school prize in July 1910.

The book contains a life of Shakespeare by Mrs. Andrew Lang with a selection from the plays and from Lamb's tales.

It includes 16 colour plates and many more illustrations.
