3x Artworks Based on Gallagher's Cigarettes Cards 'The Allies Flags' Framed

We were donated this item with no information, so the details we can give our limited to our own research.

We tracked the origin of the artwork here to originate from Gallagher Cigarette cards, in the series 'The Allies Flags'. The left and right art match clearly. We were able to find a card matching the center artwork but with some differences, such as the order of the flags, and the Japan flag in the original card being the older version while the one in the art is the current one.

The center artwork has '1914-15' written on the bottom in pencil. The original cigarette cards did come out in 1914, though in this case we believe it is more a timestamp of the theme of the art (Allies flags in World War 1). We do not know the actual date or artist of the pieces here.

We also do not know what is on the back of the pieces as we do not want to remove the tape from the back of the frame for fear of damaging it.

Full frame size is approx. 22cm x 39.5cm

Donated used, showing only minor wear and in good condition. No damage.
