About Us
We are a Christian charity working in Kenya and aiming to relieve the suffering of those living in extreme poverty, especially orphans and street-children. We also enable many to be educated even to university level if their families cannot afford to do so. We manage to operate with no paid staff in UK and have a charity shop in Ballymena in Northern Ireland.
What We Do
We reach out into local communities through our ten churches to identify and help the poorest of the poor, as well as having a feeding programme 3 days a week for street children in the town of Kitale, providing a nourishing meal for up to 300 children. We have a small childrens home for the youngest children we rescued from the streets. We pay school fees and medical expenses for widow's families or others who are genuinely unable to provide. Kenyan children understand that education is their only way out of poverty and are keen to learn.
