Eastern Approaches by Fitzroy Maclean Vintage Hardback Book Reprint Society 1951

This item was donated used and shows several signs of age such as tanned pages and foxing. There doesn't appear to be any physical damage such as loose or torn pages.

The top of the pages, as seen when the book is closed, are completely black. We're unsure if this is some kind of stain or done by design (all other photos we found of the book conveniently left out this angle!). It can be seen in picture 5. There is no obvious mark when looking at the pages themselves.

Note: Pictures 9 & 12 have a reddish tint for some reason and do not accurately depict the actual colours.

A previous owners name has been written in one of the front pages, which has bled through to the next page.

Does not come with a dust jacket (if it ever had one).

This book was first published in 1949, while this appears to be a first edition 1951 Reprint Society version.
